The growing field of Biophilic Design - a philosophy used by architects, interior designers, urban planners and landscape designers - espouses integrating natural elements including color, water, air, sunlight, plants, animals, natural materials, and botanical motifs in the design of our homes, offices and urban landscapes to restore and enhance people’s positive relationship to nature in the built environment.
